This policy describes how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for AI Business OS subscriptions, operated by EA Limitless LLC.
Subscription Plans
AI Business OS offers the following plans:
- Free: $0/month — no billing
- Builder: $29/month
- Pro: $79/month
- Teams: Custom pricing for organizations (contact contact@ealimitless.com)
All paid plans renew automatically on a monthly basis until canceled.
Billing
- Charges occur at the start of each billing period
- Charges are processed by Stripe, our payment provider
- You authorize EA Limitless LLC to charge your payment method on file
- All amounts are in US dollars unless otherwise noted
- Sales tax may apply based on your jurisdiction
Cancellation
How to Cancel
You can cancel at any time through:
- Customer Portal: Go to /app/billing and click "Manage Subscription," then "Cancel Subscription" in the Stripe portal
- Email: Send a cancellation request to contact@ealimitless.com with subject "Cancel Subscription"
What Happens After Cancellation
- Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period
- You retain access to paid features (Builder or Pro) until the period ends
- No further charges will occur after cancellation
- You will be automatically downgraded to the Free tier at the end of the period
- Your data, ideas, plans, and history are preserved if you stay on the Free tier
- Account data is retained per our Privacy Policy retention schedule
Refunds
Standard Policy
We do not offer refunds for subscription periods that have already begun. Once a billing period starts and you have access to the Service, that charge is non-refundable.
Reasons for this policy:
- The Service is provided digitally and immediately upon billing
- AI generation costs are incurred by us at the time of use
- This is industry standard for SaaS products
Exceptions
We will issue refunds in the following situations:
Unauthorized charges If your payment method was used without your authorization, contact us immediately at contact@ealimitless.com. We will investigate and refund unauthorized charges promptly.
Duplicate charges If you are charged twice for the same billing period due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charge.
Service unavailability If a documented Service outage prevents you from using the Service for a significant portion of a billing period, contact us and we will evaluate a prorated refund or service credit.
First-time subscriber (7-day grace period) If you are subscribing to a paid plan for the first time, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial charge. After 7 days, the standard policy applies.
Legally required refunds We will honor refunds required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
How to Request a Refund
Email contact@ealimitless.com with:
- Subject line: "Refund Request"
- Your account email
- The transaction date and amount
- The reason for your refund request
We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days through your original payment method.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- We will attempt to charge your payment method again per Stripe's retry schedule
- We will send an email notification to update your payment information
- After multiple failed attempts, your account will be marked "past due"
- You retain access during the past-due period
- If payment is not received within a reasonable grace period, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier
- Your data remains accessible at the Free tier level
You can update your payment information through the Customer Portal at /app/billing.
Plan Changes (Upgrades and Downgrades)
Upgrades
When you upgrade (e.g., Free → Builder, Builder → Pro):
- The upgrade takes effect immediately
- You are charged the new plan amount immediately
- Your AI generation quota resets to the new tier's limit
- The next billing date is set to one month from the upgrade
Downgrades
When you downgrade to a lower tier:
- The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You retain higher-tier access until then
- No prorated refund is issued for the unused portion
- After downgrade, features specific to the higher tier (e.g., public sharing on Builder+) are no longer available
- Existing content created at the higher tier (e.g., public links you already published) remains accessible but cannot be modified to extend higher-tier benefits
Cancellation vs. Downgrade
- Cancellation = ending your paid subscription, returning to Free tier
- Downgrade = moving to a lower paid tier (currently only relevant if Pro → Builder)
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first:
- Your account may be suspended pending resolution
- We will provide documentation of services rendered to the payment processor
- If the chargeback is reversed in our favor, you may be liable for fees and re-charging
- Repeated chargebacks may result in permanent account termination
Please contact us at contact@ealimitless.com before initiating a chargeback. We will work to resolve billing disputes in good faith.
Account Termination by Us
If we terminate your account for violation of our Terms of Service:
- Refunds for the current billing period are not provided
- Access ends immediately
- Your data may be retained for legal/compliance reasons per our Privacy Policy
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices:
- Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days' notice before price changes take effect
- Notice will be sent to your registered email address
- If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before the new price takes effect
- Promotional pricing may have specific terms; we will disclose them at signup
